Plan, schedule, coordinate and track the flow of hardware and
material throughout the manufacturing process, including
fabrication, assembly, test and shipment; position controls jobs of
lower level complexity, shorter turn-around times and single
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Ensures that all materials, supplies, and equipment received
for production are processed and distributed in a timely manner
to the production department.
- Generates schedules, travelers, flow sheets and other tools
for tracking Work In Progress (WIP); generates WIP Master report
regarding status of hardware; generates work orders using
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Maintains configuration and serial control of production
- Ensures the generation of pick lists, Total Quality
Assurance 27 procedure (TQA 27) and other shipping documents as
- Flag production problems and coordinate resolution through
appropriate support and management personnel.
- Writes rework instructions for kit splits and routing changes;
- Participate in safety training and actively comply with safety
policies and practices.
- Improve and maintain 5S in your area; make suggestions for
- Participate in Lean/Six Sigma activities in own work area as
well as events for other areas to enhance cross-functional
- Collaborate in team meetings and activities, including SET
team support as appropriate.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Performs work of lower complexity on single programs.

be acquired and demonstrated through experience, education and/or
vocational training as noted or as appropriate.)
- Two (2) years of materials related experience within a
manufacturing environment specific to production control,
preferred; High School Diploma, required; Associate’s degree, a
- Communication skills: ability to receive messages by
telephone, in person, electronically and in writing; ask
questions and rephrase statements to clarify meaning; ability to
read, interpret and comprehend complex written and verbal
instructions as well as technical publications; communicate
across organizational levels; ability to communicate with
quality, integrity and respect in a way that inspires others and
encourages innovation and possibilities;
- Computer skills: working in a networked environment
using a Windows and/or Windows like interface using Power Point,
Excel and Word software programs; ability to use computer-aided
design software suites;
- Math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in
all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and
decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw
and interpret bar graphs.
- Analytical skills: review and compare data to identify
inconsistencies and determine priorities;
- Time Management and organizational skills: flexibility and
adaptability to changing priorities and assignments; ability to
