Development Engineer for R&D Department in a Satellite Communication Company
Cobham SATCOM is looking for a skilled and creative Development Engineer to work in our expanding VSAT R&D antenna department in Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark.
You will work with the newest generation of stabilized steerable antennas developed by Cobham SATCOM, used in VSAT and Inmarsat’s BGAN satellite communication systems. Cobham SATCOM is the world leader in the VSAT maritime marked with state-of-the-art antennas as SAILOR 60GX and SAILOR 900. These products represent an important share of our product range for maritime and land-mobile VSAT applications.
Your will be part of our HW design team and work in a challenging and inspiring environment together with highly skilled RF, Antenna, Mechanical, and Software design engineers.
Your knowledge, skills and qualifications will ideally include
An education in electronics engineering or similar.
FPGA design (VHDL Programming)
Ability to communicate (written and oral) in English.
Execute in a thorough and systematic way of working.
Good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a casual working environment.
CPU architecture. MIPS requirements, CPU interfaces etc.
BUS architecture. UART, SPI, IC2 etc.
Memory architecture. DDR2, DDR3, DDR4, eMMC.
Ethernet (10/100/1000BaseT, FX, SFP) & USB Interfaces
Environmental test and problem solving (Temperature, EMC, ESD, HALT etc.).
ADC/DAC. Instrumentation and IQ-sampling.
Ability to communicate (written and oral) in Danish.
