Cobham is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II, (Electrical). This position is located in Prescott, Arizona
Key Responsibilities:
  • Primary responsibilities include providing support for problem solving of assembly/test issues through investigation and research.
  • Experienced in continuous improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma,) design for manufacture, production readiness, and manufacturing processes
Minimum Requirements:
  • BSEE
  • Provides technical expertise and interpretation of Electrical Schematics, mechanical drawings of products to assist in the assembly, inspection, and test and troubleshooting moderately complex products (circuit card through top level).
  • Application of structured approaches to problem solving, Root Cause Analysis (Ishikawa, Pareto, etc.).
  • Solid knowledge in Electronics; analog, power, digital, and RF communications
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical and RF circuits to the component level
  • Familiar with RF test equipment; Spectrum Analyzers, Power meters, signal generators, etc.
  • Knowledge of Aerospace industry standard assembly practices (IPC, J-STD)
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the US. In order to be eligible you must be either a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Application and use of Lean Six Sigma to manufacturing environment.
  • Support of, and observation of, CAC policies and procedures related to the Quality Management System, and certifications held by CAC (e.g., AS9100C, etc., NADCAP). Performance management and continuous improvement in: Quality, Schedule, Cost
  • ERP/MES experience desired to generate BOM Structures and Routers.
  • LabVIEW experience would be a plus.
