The Antenna Test Technician (2nd Shift) performs the set-up,
calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of flat plate antenna
arrays and related components, instruments, and mechanical
assemblies. The Antenna Test Technician determines and may develop
test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints,
drawings, and diagrams. This position may complete rework on
assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
- Production testing and tuning of an assortment of antenna
assemblies in X and Ku band.
- Tests, and tunes components related to antennas including
corporate feed assemblies, couplers, waveguide to coaxial
adapters, waveguide and RF cable assemblies.
- Some manual assembly operations are required as part of the
test function to include using various conductive and
non-conductive epoxies to install loads, tuning element’s, and

- Basic computer skills (MS Office, file navigation)
- Must be able to work under a microscope when necessary.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Must be able to prove US Citizenship
- Soldering certification J-STD-001 is a plus.
- Four (4) years of related experience.
- A basic understanding of microwave principles, filters,
passive components, DC circuits and amplifier operation.
- A solid understanding of microwave vector network analyzers,
calibration, and measurement techniques.
- Familiarity with power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes,
power meters, and spectrum analyzers.
