Our San Jose team develops advanced microwave and millimeter wave subsystems, hybrid modules and components for defense and government customers. To meet our customers’ requirements, the Package manufacturing team plays a critical role in our success.
Process parts on glass-to-metal seal manufacturing line doing mechanical assembly while also working with processes such as cleaning, bead blasting, and deburring.
Do final inspection on completed housings.  Inspection is done under a microscope where you will be looking for defects on the parts.
Build and inspect parts under a microscope.
Use calipers and mechanical instruments to take measurements.
Must be able to understand assembly drawings, written and oral work instructions.  
Need to be detail oriented and able to communicate when a part does not meet specifications.
Need to maintain record logs, filling out operation sheets and load parts in furnaces. 
Work with engineers to ensure smooth flow of production and reports issues that affect the product quality or performance of equipment. 
This is a day shift position with working hours of 5am to 1:30pm. 
Basic Qualifications:
At least 1 year of assembly experience
At least 1 year of experience assembling using a microscope
 Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with mechanical process such as fixture assembly is a plus.  
Must have good written and verbal communication skills.  
Should be comfortable working with computers.
Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
Must be able to work in a team environment and participate in problem solving when process and assembly problems arise.
