The Accounts Receivable Specialist assists in the resolution of billing, payment, and accounting-related inquiries and reducing past due receivable balances by reaching out to previous and existing customers whose balance have gone unpaid. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, issuing, and sending out accurate invoices and statements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Handle and contact customers for receivables collections;
  • Prepare monthly statements to customers;
  • Collect and follow up on all outstanding receivables;
  • Monitor and check on overdue accounts receivables;
  • Responsible for reconciliation of incoming payments;
  • Assist in handling general accounting duties.
  • Perform ad hoc assignment is required.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
  • May be involved in reviewing, tracking, and maintaining billing information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and other accounting regulations.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or the equivalent combination of education and experience) and 2 years of related experience.
  • Experience in government audits preferred.
Budgeting and Fiscal Responsibilities:
  • As applicable.
Computer Skills:
  • Must be a proficient user of Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Excel and Access.
  • 10-key by touch.
  • Prior use of Visual Manufacturing preferred.
