The Export Compliance Administrator (“ECA”) has responsibility for ISS sites within North America for supervising and implementing the day-to-day operations of the Cobham Ex/Im Compliance Policy (“Ex/Im Policy”)

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Support the site Export Compliance Manager on the implementation and maintenance of corporate-wide compliance programs;
  • Draft, review and process export licenses as required under the Company’s policy;
  • Process customer and visitor denied screenings as necessary;
  • Assist and/or lead employee trainings;
  • Promptly and efficiently reply to requests made by customers;
  • Participate in assessments, review corrective actions, and risk mitigation;
  • Assist with various special projects as necessary;
  • Assisting with the performance of due diligence on End User Undertakings/Certificates
  • All other tasks required to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction;
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 years related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent trade compliance certifications
  • US Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understand the provisions and requirements of the various export control statutes and regulations and the criminal and administrative penalties as well as civil liability for violating the Arms Export Control Act and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations
  • Must have the ability to work with various levels of leadership.
  • Work independently or on a team
  • Experience at the intermediate level with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
  • Must be detail oriented with reliable follow-up ability.
  • Must have the ability to understand and interpret internal and external policies
