Cobham SATCOM is looking for a Sales Director Strategic Partners to work with their global maritime partners. The role is global but with the majority of stakeholders placed in Europe. This role will be based from the Cobham SATCOM Head office in Lyngby, Copenhagen or in close proximity and will involve regular travel of around 100 days per year.

 

 

 

As a Sales Director Strategic Partners your key skills and qualifications will ideally include:

      

  • Ideally Degree educated in a Business discipline with proven growth within area of responsibility.
  • Flair for understanding technical businesses
  • Proven track record in key account management with major global accounts. Maritime sales experience would be highly desirable
  • Prior experience in forecasting and budgeting for key accounts
  • Interest in innovation, high technology and business solutions
  • You will possess excellent presentation skills and be used to preparing and delivering presentation for key partners and end customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a good level of technical, commercial and financial awareness
  • Results driven and customer orientation person with excellent negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Self-managed and excellent management time and priorities (initiative and planning ahead)
  • Project management skills and structured approach

              

  


As a Sales Director Strategic Partners your main responsibilities will involve:   

Strategic Accounts:

 

  • Global lead for cooperation with Strategic Account
  • Revenue and GM for accounts
  • Responsible cooperation with Strategic Partner globally
  • Manage accounts including turnover, sales development and growth
  • Develop and implement account plans including activity plans
  • Pricing and Sales Plans
  • Forecasting
  • Project and Opportunity Management
  • Secure strategic development and cooperation with partners.
  • Global coordination for all activities related to Strategic Partner.
  • Collaborate with other sales team members working with Account in Regions
  • Develop and enhance existing customer relations, ensuring continued business
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues quickly and seamlessly
  • Facilitate timely and cost effective delivery processes with partners
  • Attend trade shows and other company customer focused events
  • Present product and solutions to customers and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

 

 Other Accounts:

 

  • Account Management
  • Revenue and GM for accounts
  • Manage account including turnover, sales development and growth
  • Collaborate with other sales team members and sales, service and Product Market Management
  • Facilitate timely and cost effective delivery of product,
  • Attend trade shows and other company customer focused events
  • Present product and solutions to customers and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner,

                  

Marketing Responsibilities:

 

  • Engages in all activities related to business development
  • Coordinate marketing activities with accounts and key stakeholders
  • Attend shows with either Cobham SATCOM booth or supporting partners booth
  • Attend/host roadshows and end customer seminars and do presentations

            

Reporting:

 

  • Forecasting and budgeting for the Accounts
  • Ensuring all projects are listed in CRM and kept updated
  • SOW plans
