You can now purchase Ceramic Oxygen Generation System (COGS) technology for gas generation online through the GSA’s Advantage!® procurement system
Cobham through its distribution partner- Transaero Inc, has
received a US General Services Administration (GSA) contract that
allows the armed forces and other federal agencies to purchase
Ceramic Oxygen Generation System (COGS) technology for gas
generation, COGS 2L & 5L configurations, and liquid oxygen
generation, COGS-LOX 100, online through the GSA's Advantage!®
procurement system.
COGS 2L & 5L: COGS produces ABO grade gaseous oxygen (purity
≥99.99%) and is capable of recharging aviator oxygen cylinders up
to 2250 psi. Based on patented Integrated Manifold and Tube (IMAT)
technology, COGS utilizes ion-conduction to separate oxygen
directly from atmospheric air to produce ultra-high pure
oxygen.
COGS-LOX 100: Utilizing the ion-conduction technology, COGS-LOX
100 produces up to 100 liters per day of ≥99.99+% pure liquid
oxygen, ABO grade, for use in aircraft operations and has internal
storage capacity of 300 liters. During 2016 COBHAM has been in the
process of briefing and demonstrating this system to the Air
National Guard and the US Air Force.
Now, with the inclusion in the GSA Schedule, COGS 2L, 5L and
COGS-LOX 100 units can be conveniently purchased by any DoD agency
for their daily operational use, reducing logistics costs and
increasing safety/control of aviator breathing oxygen supplies.
The GSA product numbers are: COGS 2L (3275004-0101), COGS 5L
(3275004-0201), and COGS-LOX 100 (3275003-0201) and can be
purchased using the contract No: GS-07F-6094R (ends in Sept 15,
2020). The warranty is 1 year on the all systems and can be
transportable to location via air, sea or land. The MAS
Schedule/SIN: 084/426 4F.
