The low profile, phased-array AVIATOR HGA-7001 High Gain Antenna complies with ARINC 781 and can operate with both ARINC 741 and ARINC 781 compliant avionics (Satellite Data Units). It is also Inmarsat SwiftBroadband 7th order PIM compliant. Providing seamless coverage over the Inmarsat-defined hemisphere, the Inmarsat-type approved AVIATOR HGA-7001 is for use with Inmarsat Classic Aero (H/H+), Swift64 and SwiftBroadband satcom systems for multi-channel service for a range of applications.
AVIATOR HGA-7001 is designed with an integral Beam Steering Unit (BSU), reducing system box count and improving installation simplicity. A removable tail cap allows access to the connector compartment. Available with DC power and wideband frequency AC power, AVIATOR HGA-7001 is suitable for a range of air transport aircraft and in cooperation with various airframe manufacturers, different RF matched mounting/adaptor plates are available for fixed and flexible installations.
Embracing an integrated cockpit and cabin approach, Cobham SATCOM's High Gain Antennas can be used to receive and transmit voice and data for the benefit of the flight deck, crew and passengers. As well as providing connectivity for air traffic control, aircraft operation and EFBs for the cockpit, AVIATOR HGA-7001 fulfills the demand for high data rates and broadband capability to offer fast and reliable connectivity on Inmarsat SwiftBroadband services for high quality, low-cost voice calling and the full complement of data services, supporting the use of Wi-Fi enabled devices such as laptops, tablets and smart phones.
