Combat rescue training including medical evacuations, self-protection during rescue, airdrop of equipment and personnel and recovery training.

Carrying out helicopter Search and Rescue operations in combat situations requires specialist training to prepare pilots and rear crewmen for the highly fluid and stressful nature of such missions.

Our qualified pilot and rear crewmen Instructors typically have Special Forces backgrounds and over 5,000 flying hours' experience, including 3,000 hours instructing and up to 600 hours on Night Vision Devices.

For over 20 years we have provided rescue training techniques to the UK Ministry of Defence - techniques used by a range of Air Forces in recent conflicts around the world.

Military Operators worldwide can benefit from Cobham Helicopter Academy's unrivalled experience through a range of Combat Search and Rescue training for pilots and rear crewmen, which includes medical evacuations, configuration of rescue equipment, self-protection during rescue, airdrop of equipment and personnel and recovery training.
