Your skills and qualifications
When your work revolves around satellite antenna and terminal development, this provides you with the opportunity to engage with various technologies and concepts. Our equipment needs to interface and comply with several 3rd party products which together with the requirements of our end-users and regulatory constraints set our challenging objectives. This means you will be working with all aspects of software engineering from innovation and planning, to design, programming, integration, test and support. We work in cross-functional software teams with a flavor of scrum, which we continuously work on improving. You will benefit from our modern development pipeline of source control and configuration, automatic build and test systems, code review and project tracking based on Git, Bitbucket, Docker, Jenkins and Jira.

Your key skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- Master or BSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Network Technology or equivalent
- Well experienced in developing software in a Linux environment
- Knowledge of application, feature and API design using solid principles
- Used to unit testing and automated validation methods
- Experience with debugging and troubleshooting on bare metal
- Mastering scripting tools like bash, Python and GNU make
- Knowledge of agile development processes, test automation and continuous integration
Your role will be based either in Cobham SATCOM’s headquarter in Kgs. Lyngby, Copenhagen or at our coming site at NOVI, Aalborg.
