If so then Cobham Antenna Systems are looking for an Entry level HR Administrator. This is an exciting introduction into HR providing administrative support to the HR function in areas such as reporting, HR processes, accurate management of input to the payroll and ad hoc support where required. The successful candidate will work in a small HR team supporting two HR Business Partners and the VP of HR and will get exposure to a full range of HR functions including employee relations, compensation and benefits, recruitment and training.
 
This role is based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire
 
Our technology
At Cobham Antenna Systems, we design and manufacture active and passive avionics antennas and electronic control systems for military and civil communications, navigation and search and rescue applications.  We pioneered frequency agile VHF tuneable antennas and continue to be a key supplier to major avionics companies.  Our GPS anti-jam technology utilises state of the art DSP algorithms with an active antenna to eliminate both narrow-band and wide-band jamming signals.  We have world leading technology in Ground Penetrating Radar and RF interference mitigation. Both military and civil users rely on our direction finding systems for search and rescue operations.
 

As an Entry level HR Administrator your skills and qualifications will ideally include: 

  • 5 GCSE A*-C grades and BTEC/A Levels or NVQ’s in business administration or a similar subject would be desirable.
     
  • Experience in an office environment would be advantageous
     
  • Experience using computer systems. I.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook work will be essential. Basic to intermediary level
     
  • Confident in communicating with people and with a high attention to detail
  • Confident in managing time and priorities 

As an Entry level HR Administrator your main responsibilities will involve: 

  • To oversee the preparation and issue of appropriate documentation in relation to appointments, exits and variations of employment, including accurate notification to Payroll and benefit providers.
  • Maintain all training, learning and development records and be an administrator of the online Performance Management system.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date digital and physical records relating to employees
  • Manage staff relationships effectively, promptly responding to HR queries and managing expectations.
  • Produce, maintain and distribute statistical and management information using the relevant reporting tool in support of the HRBPs and VP of HR.
  • Facilitate the deployment of Cobham wide engagement processes, e.g. Sir Alan Cobham awards, employee engagement survey etc.
