Cobham is seeking a Contract Administrator III. This position is located in Davenport, IA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports Business Win process through arranging quotations and supporting the negotiation of contracts and agreements within area of responsibility
  • Identifies commercial risks and mitigations
  • Compliance with Contract Policy
  • Implements Group policies and procedures which relate to Commercial & Contracts
  • Performs Contract review, acceptance, and order acknowledgment
  • Creates flow down terms and conditions for Operations and Supplier Management
  • Develops relationships with internal and external customers
  • Creates contract summaries for management
  • Manages the preparation of inputs and support to Tender Vets and Life Cycle Management Reviews
  • Advises bid approval escalations to BU/Sector/EDC & Board as appropriate
  • Oversees Change Management, communicating as needed and proactively to meet stated and anticipated needs with external customers
  • Reviews RFPs, RFQs, IFBs, SOWs, terms and conditions and makes appropriate changes
  • Conducts legal research as needed to complete assigned projects
  • Performs all operations according to prescribed safety principles

Minimum Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate Degree
  • 3+ years of FAR/DFAR experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Contract Administration, including Contract Negotiation
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain
  • 2+ years of experience in cost and pricing data
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the US. In order to be eligible you must be either a US Citizen or Permanent Resident 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience conducting legal research
  • Experience with major aerospace prime contractors
