Corporate Responsibility

“Corporate Responsibility is regarded a key consideration in day to day business throughout the Cobham Group. As a global business, Cobham recognises that it has a local and world-wide impact on the environment and society. The Group strives to reduce the cost base, whilst at the same time, lessen the environmental impact that our business has upon the environment, improve Cobham’s social impacts on all stakeholders and ultimately deliver added shareholder value.

The Chief Executive has overall responsibility for CR performance and ensures that the Board takes account of CR issues in its Annual Risk Assessment and monitors progress throughout the year.  Commitments will be progressively implemented through individual operating companies’ defined action plans to agreed timetables.  Progress will be measured, reported and verified using appropriate performance indicators.

We are currently reviewing our CR strategy to bring it into line with best practice in our sector and to align it with our core business strategy of enhancing our leadership position in the high-technology growth segments of the aerospace and defence markets in which we operate through building trust with all our stakeholders. We will work to ensure that we communicate all the changes we make to enhance our performance and welcome your feedback.”

Allan E Cook CBE

Chief Executive
