The most important thing we build is trust

Well-known in the Inmarsat aero world, AVIATOR IGA-5006 is a mechanically-steered fuselage Intermediate Gain Antenna providing a small and light solution at a competitive cost.

Field-proven design

The 2-axis, mechanically-steered fuselage AVIATOR IGA-5006 Intermediate Gain Antenna is highly-regarded, class-leading system that is widely used with Aero Mini-M, Aero-I and SwiftBroadband systems. Allowing autonomous steering, the integrated GPS antenna features built-in navigation sensors allowing installation on an aircraft with no IRS, AHRS or other navigation systems.

Compact and flexible

AVIATOR IGA-5006 is ideal for single channel SwiftBroadband system applications and is particularly suited for aircraft where size, weight and cost of communications are the primary drivers. AVIATOR IGA-5006 offers flexibility through a range of custom adaptor plates that are designed to simplify installation design and planning, whilst the antenna can be installed using fuselage or tail-cap mounting.

Complete solution

Embracing an integrated cockpit and cabin approach, Cobham SATCOM's compact and lightweight Intermediate Gain Antennas can be used to receive and transmit voice and data for the benefit of the flight deck, crew and passengers. As well as providing connectivity for the cockpit, aircraft operation and EFB, AVIATOR IGA-5006 offers fast and reliable connectivity on Inmarsat SwiftBroadband services for high quality, low-cost voice calling and the full complement of data services, supporting the use of Wi-Fi enabled devices such as laptops, tablets and smart phones.
