Cobham plc has annual revenues approaching £1.5 billion and employs 12,500 people on five continents. This change has been made to help customers and suppliers around the world better understand the breadth of the capabilities that we and our sister business units can offer as part of Cobham.
Same people, same products and services with a new look
The people, products and services you know will remain the same, but the name and our brand image will be updated as part of Cobham's evolution to a single unified global identity. We will use the identifier 'Vector Fields Software' with a new Cobham logo (as above) which makes the relationship with our parent company much clearer.
Vector Fields is a business unit within ERA Technology Ltd, which will continue to be the legal company name. To help make the change easy to understand, our new literature and stationery will include the statement "ERA Technology Ltd trading as Cobham Technical Services". Please continue to address all purchase orders and make cheques and other remittances to ERA Technology Ltd.
2008 was a strong year, which saw many new customers using Opera and Concerto for the first time, and an increasing number of supported users. We will continue to invest in the development of advanced software and will be looking for ways to enhance our service to you by harnessing Cobham's global resources. Although our website and e-mail addresses will be updated in due course, all of our existing contact details can still be used and we look forward to working with you in 2009 and beyond.
Of course, we welcome any questions or feedback you have on these changes and encourage you to visit www.cobham.com/technicalservices in the coming months, to find out more about the range of distinctive technologies and services we have to offer.
