What you need to know about check-in and carry-on baggage

Baggage

If you are travelling with checked baggage, please ensure you check-in at least 60 minutes prior to departure.

If you are travelling with carry-on baggage only, please ensure you are at the departure gate at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time of departure.

Please note: Cobham prohibits specific items from travelling and similarly some destinations require that their quarantine and safety regulations are adhered to. For more information, please see  'terms and conditions of carriage' and ' quarantine'.

Tool Boxes/Bags

Passengers checking in tool boxes/bags must fill in a 'Toolbox Declaration' and hand it into the terminal staff. The maximum a tool box/bag can be checked in at is 32kg as one single piece. All items in excess of this must be consigned to freight. Items in excess of 46kg will require prior approval from Cobham to travel as a consolidated piece.

*please be advised each aircraft is different, and is restricted to carry certain weights on some routes. This limit is subject to change at client and Cobham agreement.

Excess Baggage

If you arrive at the Perth terminal with a bag that exceeds the weight limit for your site, the check in counter has disposable bags for a gold coin donation.

If you are still unsure of baggage limitations to your site or require an excess baggage allowance, please enquire with your site travel coordinator for additional luggage allowances.
