Auxiliary Mission Equipment

The Eurofighter’s Chaff and Flare Defensive Aids System comprises dispensers which release infrared flares to defeat heat seeking missiles and chaff to disrupt radar guided missiles. The Cobham supplied system is an aircraft baseline requirement, integral to the defensive capabilities of the Eurofighter.


Air-to-Air Refuelling

In RAAF service, the A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport is equipped with two Cobham latest generation under wing refuelling pods which can simultaneously refuel two probe-equipped receiver aircraft.


Weapons Carriage and Release

Cobham has delivered more than 500 BRU/61A weapons release systems for the Boeing F-15E Strike Eagle since 2006. The BRU/61A was designed to carry the Boeing Small Diameter Bomb precision munitions and allows weapons release at supersonic speeds


Unmanned Systems

Cobham's NBC MAX service robot is a universal mobile sensor platform that can be equipped with a broad palette of sensors to detect and investigate chemical, biological, explosive or toxic substances
