Explosively Actuated Gas Energy Release (EAGER-PAK) Assembly

The EAGER-PAK Assembly is a highly-reliable stored gas device with multiple applications.  Explosive actuators are devices in which a triggering signal initiates a chemical explosive that causes a rapid and powerful mechanical action.  The triggering signal is usually electronic. When the device is initiated, a small piercing ram is driven forward puncturing the gas bottle diaphragm.   The pressurized Nitrogen gas is contained within a hermetically sealed bottle.  When the gas is released, it causes a mechanical action to occur within milliseconds.
 
 The EAGER-PAK is fully qualified, EMI tested, lightweight and custom configured to fit the envelope requirements.
