Quality Assurance Certifications
As an approved ISO 9001:2000 AS9100:2004 facility, Cobham’s Quality Assurance department is responsible for ensuring products that are built in accordance with all contractual requirements.
Specific responsibilities include:
Selection, approval and evaluation of vendors
Monitoring vendor performance
Sustaining a state of the art metrology lab, environmental test lab and gas purity lab
Calibrating test equipment in accordance with ISO/ANSI standards
Providing environmental stress screening of electric components and completed circuit boards
Performing design environmental testing in simulated field conditions
