For over thirty years, Cobham’s Test-A-Pack Systems, a pioneer in automated package testing solutions, has provided dependable, easy to use, CE-compliant package-testing solutions for packaging companies in fields such as converters, medical, pharmaceutical, food, and industrial. 

A world leader in innovative package integrity testing, Cobham broke new ground with the pneumatic burst test method, and established package testing as a science.  As an active participant on the ASTM F2.0 Committee on Flexible Barrier Materials, Cobham also contributed to the development of ASTM F-1140, a standardized method for testing internal pressurization failure resistance of unrestrained packages, such as might occur during such processes as sterilization and transportation.  Then and now, Cobham continues to meet the ever-changing market demands and its customers’ needs. 

The Test-A-Pack product line includes the 2600 Seal Strength Tester, which has become the industry standard for package testing, the 2700 Integrity Tester, and the 2900 Non-Destructive Leak Tester.

Please note Test-A-Pack products are not field serviceable. All calibrations & repairs must be performed at Cobham in Orchard Park, NY. An A N.I.S.T. traceable certificate of calibration is provided with calibrations. Carleton Technologies Inc. (doing business as Cobham Life Support) is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.
