Aircraft Weapons Carriage and Release Systems

Cobham’s understanding of cryogenic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical component interactions strongly supports its high-volume, low-cost production of next generation pneumatic weapons carriage and release systems.  To integrate its product lines and better respond to its customers, Cobham is establishing a center of excellence providing weapons carriage and release systems in support of existing systems as well as to meet the future needs of its customers. 

Leveraging over 50 years of pneumatic expertise, Cobham will continue to supply the BRU-61/A, a state of the art pneumatic carriage system for the Small Diameter Bomb program, in support of the US Air Force. Through its center of excellence in Orchard Park, NY, Cobham will continue dedvelopment of future weapons carriage and release systems.
