DAVENPORT, IA -- Effective May 14, 2007 Bryan Heath is promoted to Director, Operations and QA.
Bryan has been employed by CLSS for approximately 5 years. He started as a Senior Industrial Engineer followed by key management roles in both the Cooler and Air Separation Value Streams. As the Cooler Value Stream Manager, Bryan began the Lean implementation in cooler assembly that included total rearrangement of the cooler assembly area, major facility infrastructure improvements and the implementation of kanban replenishment methods with our suppliers.
In the Air Separation Value Stream, he managed a similar, but more difficult transition that is still in its infancy. While the facility has been upgraded, we have just begun the arduous task of establishing kanban relationships with our key suppliers and establishing manufacturing “pull” systems.
