Lowell has produced in excess of 3 million antennas, offering performance optimized for bandwidth, efficiency, radiation patterns, power handling, size, weight, shape and cost. Our product portfolio includes blades, GPS, data links, conformal and wrap antennas for airborne, supersonic, LO, space and missile applications.

RF / Microwave / Millimeter Wave Components

Cobham Microwave Electronics – Lowell has proven expertise in the Microwave Electronics product area. Cobham takes complex RF block diagrams, and through the use of our proven design tools, simulation techniques, and advanced circuit modeling approaches, realize both the RF and lower frequency circuit functions into one highly integrated, yet densely packaged item. Cobham regularly integrate items such as advanced MMICs, LNAs, special filters, and high power amplifiers into our products. Some of our subsystems have over 200 functions integrated into a small form factor.

Cobham has built transmitters, up/down converters, receivers, TR functions, power distribution networks, beam formers, and many other circuits with this integrated subsystems technology approach. Our Microwave Electronics hardware is flying on both tactical and other Military Aircraft, Helicopters, Transport Aircraft, on Satellites in Space, Tactical Missiles (launched from air, land and sea), PGMs, Communications Platforms, Telemetry/Data Links, Surface/Airborne/Shipboard Radars, Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems, and many other applications.
