Cobham Defence Systems Division designs, develops and manufactures critical technology
for network centric and intelligence operations, enabling information to be moved around and managed on the digital battlefield.
The Division has centres of excellence focused on:
- Microwave
- Antennas and Subsystems
- Defence Communications
Although producing equipment primarily for the military market, the Division also supplies
distinctive, high technology products for the commercial aerospace and civilian markets.
This includes communication systems and navigation antennas, direction finding equipment, air traffic control radar and weather radars. The Division also occupies a market leading position for radar antennas, radomes, waveguides, rotating joints and microwave components and assemblies.
Cobham specialises in RF and microwave front ends for radar, communication and electronic warfare systems, providing components, integrated assemblies and subsystems for military aircraft, ground vehicles, missiles, naval vessels, space launch vehicles and satellites.
The Division is also the world leader in advanced tactical military vehicle intercom systems and soldier and ground vehicle situation awareness products, with more than 115,000 systems fielded with 18 armies around the World.
