Cobham's Capabilities
Cobham technology is also at the
heart of many advanced systems on space, air, land and maritime
platforms, providing life saving situational awareness, safety,
survival and life support systems.
Cobham and the network-enabled environment - There are many
different types of sensor, huge volumes of information to move and
lots of users to keep safe in what is increasingly becoming a
network enabled environment.

Space
Cobham's antenna, life support and pyrotechnic valve
technologies are aboard the International Space Station, satellite
launch vehicles such as the Atlas and Delta IV, satellites and the
Mars Rover.
Aerospace
The Group provides commercial and special mission aviation
services including airline, charter, maritime surveillance and
operational readiness training, as well as life support, avionics,
C4ISR and Electronic Warfare equipment on many of the world's best
known military and civil platforms from the JSF to Boeing 787,
Sikorsky and Eurocopter helicopters and the Global Hawk UAV.
Land
Cobham's land expertise embraces civil and military
communications, ground robotics and integrated ground vehicle
system solutions for EOD/CBRNE, surveillance product, safety and
survival equipment. Capabilities cover the spectrum, protecting a
single soldier or adventurer, vehicles, convoys and events,
facilities and even nations.
Maritime
Cobham microwave technologies, life support equipment,
communications and radar components are part of civil and military
fleets worldwide.
