The Palladium Series of digital video transmitters provide exceptional video quality in high multipath environments. They are ideal for use inside buildings, in urban areas, and other applications where multipath would cause video tearing or breakup in analog signals. All Palladium II series transmitters are programmable to support 3 bandwidth modes:
• Wideband DVB-T (6, 7, 8 MHz)
• Narrow band (2.5MHz)
• Ultra-narrow band: (1.25 MHz)
All Palladium Series transmitters are designed to transmit
video and two audio channels.
Transmitters may be located on adjacent channels
without a guard band. AES encryption ensures secure communications.

The Palladium Series of digital video transmitters are designed for 2.5 MHz channel spacing and use approximately 400 carriers to transmit video and two channels of voice and a data channel. Transmitters may be located on adjacent channels without a guard band. AES encryption ensures users of secure communications.

Analog Video Transmitters
VMX-250 Video Transmiter:
The power efficient 250 mW video transmitter from Cobham Tactical Communications and Surveillance features ten user programmable video frequencies. Two audio subcarriers are also user programmable on each video channel. Channel selection is made via a ten channel rotary select switch on the front panel of each unit.

VMX-2000 & VMX-5000 Video Transmitter:
Cobham Tactical Communications and Surveillance has designed two exceptionally small higher power transmitters sharing many of the features of the VMS/VML-250.
The VMX-2000 provides a selectable power output of 250 mW or 2 Watts. It’s internal switching power supply enables it to be operated without a heat sink in most applications, with a height of only .512”. The VMX-5000 is a 2 Watt or 5 Watt switchable transmitter.
An optional heat sink is available for use when the transmitter is located in a sealed environment. An added benefit of the switching power supply design is reduced power consumption of only 7 Watts, providing extended battery life versus other transmitters.
