Designed as a companion product for GMS FM transmitters, the SME from Cobham Surveillance (GMS Products) provides fully encrypted analog video. The SME encryption module incorporates the Micro-Viewlock II video encryption system that has been designed to provide the optimum protection for wireless microwave surveillance links to prevent interception.
The video signal is encrypted with a technique that utilizes a line cut and rotate scrambling that offers a very high level of picture concealment coupled with excellent security. The combination of two SMEs, an FM transmitter, and an FM receiver produces a secure wireless transmission system ideal for sensitive applications such as law enforcement, military and government security.
Note that the SME housing has mounting provisions for Cobham Surveillance (GMS Products) NT Transmitter.
