The MSR from Cobham Surveillance (GMS Products) is a professional COFDM receiver designed for the most demanding applications. The MSR features up to 6 diversity antenna inputs which allows the use of a variety of antenna combinations, providing maximum coverage and flexibility.
For airborne video downlink applications, the MSR can be paired with the MAA antenna array to form a powerful central receive system. The MAA's 6 high gain antenna panels are arranged in a 360 degree pattern providing long-range, omnidirectional coverate. A single MAA can even be shared between multiple MSRs, providing the ability to track multiple aircraft with a single antenna system. This powerful system provides a cost effective alternative to unreliable, expensive autotracking antenna systems.
