Gulf Oil Slick Survey

Infared cameras onboard Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), Integrated Missions Systems' ISR aircraft are used to help track the spread of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico

SNC's ISR aircraft feature GMS FM and COFDM video products to provide real-time transmission of live full motion video to observers on the ground. Typically used for border security and defense applications, these aircraft were called to the Gulf to support the ongoing effort to track and contain the oil spill.
