GMS Plane Demo (2005)

This video clip is a short summary of number of applications that were demonstrated at GMS' new facility at Carlsbad, in November 2005.

The demonstration lasted 3-4 hours and it included an airplane, UAV helicopter, small UGV, and two handheld cameras, both HD and SD. All of the applications used GMS' new digital, COFDM, DVB-T, "Messenger" products. The airplane was operated by a local Sheriff department. It covered over 60 miles from GMS' roof-top. The MSR with the MAA 6 panel antennas (9 dBi) were used to receive the airplane. This demonstrated the MSR/ MAA can easily replace the expensive auto-tracking pedestals.

The small UAV helicopter was provided by Coptervision. The small UAV and UGV demonstrated the robustness of the COFDM technology and GMS' small and rugged radios that can be used by smallest of vehicles. The HD and SD handheld units demonstrated the broadcast quality of the video/ audio signals from GMS digital Messenger products.
