On February 14 2011, Cobham combined its complementary Strategic Business Units of Cobham Defence Communications and Cobham Surveillance into one unit, named Cobham Tactical Communications and Surveillance (TCS).
Cobham TCS is a world leader in security, sharing and communicating situational awareness in challenging environments, from urban environments to the digital battlefield.
It provides specialist communications, security and surveillance products together with integrated solutions to 18 armed forces and more than 140 agencies globally. Markets served include counter-terrorism and intelligence, law enforcement and public safety, military platform communications and situational awareness and force protection. It also offers broadcast solutions for electronic news gathering, portable field monitoring and video-assist applications.
Cobham’s award winning audio, video, tracking, communication and sensor products protect and connect single soldiers, military vehicle crews, mobile and deployed forces, Heads of State and high value civilians and infrastructure.
