Cobham Composite Products (Composite Products) has two facilities, our San Diego, California operation which is home to our legacy programs as well as our center of excellence for future product development as well as production programs; and our Suffolk, Virginia operation which is home to our High Volume Production Facility for lean production of all of our legacy and future programs.
We are pleased to announce that our High Volume Production Facility in Suffolk, VA has been designated a certified LEED for Commercial Interiors facility by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC); we are one of the few composites manufacturing companies in the industry to achieve such a certification.

Composite Products is dedicated to providing product design and engineering services to five primary industries: Aircraft Engine Components, Aircraft and Rotorcraft Structures, Missiles and Munitions. We are known by our customers in the aerospace and defense industries for innovation, continual process improvements, and on-time deliveries with a superior production record.
We specialize in Resin Transfer Molding (RTM), compression molding (with continuous reinforcements and bulk/sheet molding compounds), hand lay-up/autoclave cure, bladder molding, Memory Shape Mandrel (MSM™) Net Shape Molding, as well as mechanical hardware and electrical systems assembly and integration. Composite Products has broad experience processing all aerospace-grade materials including graphite, Kevlar and fiberglass used in prepreg, BMC and sheet molding forms. We demonstrated production experience using advanced resin systems including multiple epoxy systems, polyimides (such as Avimid N, MVK-19 and AFR-PE-4), phenolics, bismaleimide (BMI) and cyanate ester.
Our product focus includes missile housings and components, munitions products, aircraft components, high temperature aircraft engine products, rotorcraft blade components and unmanned aerial vehicle airframes and sub-components. We have the facilities, equipment and experienced staff necessary to design, analyze and develop processes for proof-of-concept and production components for advanced aerospace and defense applications. We are well known for having one of the best track records in the advanced composites industry for reliable, high-volume production of aerospace composite products (from hundreds to over 15,000 parts per year).
