Cobham has a wealth of experience in undertaking a wide range of structural composite repairs.The company has the capacity to handle a range of composite components from small parts to large aircraft control surfaces and other structures. This facility specialises in fast turnaround for urgent requirements and offers consistently competitive prices. The centre’s capability list continues to extend – all aircraft types in the Western world are now supported.
The purpose-built facility contains all necessary equipment to offer a focused repair service covering assessment, strip, repair, assembly and paint, including the Helicopter Blade repair facility for rotary wing operators.
We hold EASA 145 approval with C1, C4, C7, C8, C10, C20 accreditation, emphasising the quality and professionalism underpinning our work.

Repair Services at Cobham Antenna Systems
Our composite repair centre at Stevenage is a self-contained unit with dedicated
staff, operating in modern facilities; each can be truly called a “One Stop Shop”. The unit includes paint strip and preparation, clean rooms, curing and drying ovens, and paint spray booths. The Centre holds EASA Part 145 approvals and can draw on engineering support from an expert team of design engineers based in Stevenage; in the case of radome repairs, these include RF engineers. Our long experience has generated a vast library of approved repair schemes, including complete composite replacement for some aircraft types.
