Resin Transfer Molding

Cobham Composite Products specializes in net-shaped molding of complex shape, high tolerance structural components using the RTM process. We have extensive production experience integrating metal attachments into the molded part to reduce secondary operations. 

Our RTM production lines are designed to meet customer production-rate requirements; multiple cavity tooling is utilized, where appropriate, to meet rate requirements.  Our production cells are qualified to produce over 8,000 parts per year.

Lean manufacturing cells are designed and qualified to optimize the production process and reduce touch labor.
