Quality Assurance

Our Quality Management System conforms to the requirements of AS9100 Revision B and ISO 9001:2008. Cobham Antenna Systems (Methuen MA) upgraded to this stringent Aerospace Quality System and attained Certification in May 2007.  

Our previous Quality System was certified to ISO 9001 in December of 1996, shortly thereafter it was evaluated by the Defense Contract Management Command, who ascertained that our Quality System met all requirements of ISO 9001/ANSI/ASQ 9001. We attained ISO-9001:2000 certification in December 2002. This history demonstrates Cobham Antenna Systems’ commitment to continuous improvement. 

It should be noted that Cobham Antenna Systems’ Methuen location is approved to the Federal Aviation Administration's FAA-STD-016 which is the equivalent to MIL-Q-9858A.  For many years, we have successfully produced and tested complex Rotary Joints for Air Traffic Control applications. These programs include: First Article, Reliability, Qualification, Type Testing, etc. 

Cobham Antenna Systems (Methuen MA) has gained a reputation throughout the industry as an outstanding supplier, which is reflected in the many awards we have received from our customers over the years. Cobham Antenna Systems’ Quality Assurance Program has undergone numerous audits and we have been approved as a supplier by companies such as Raytheon, ITT Gilfillan, Northrop Grumman, IAI Elta, Selex, Boeing and NASA.
