Concerto AS

Concerto AS is a special low cost product aimed specifically at coaxial device modeling. It supports TEM modes, with extremely fast analysis time by solving only the 2D cross section of a device. The FDTD method is used which has proved to be the most efficient technique for this class of model. coax_connector_geom

The price has been set very low with Concerto AS to encourage connector designer to use this invaluable tool. It is also unique since not only does it solve only a 2D cross section (giving unrivalled speed of calculation), but it also uses a full 3D Geometric Modeler allowing data transfer to full 3D analysis modules if required.

Benefits

By making the product aimed at a specific application (namely coaxial devices), it is possible to keep the price at an extremely affordable level. The full 3D modeler is included in the package, so that full 3D CAD files can be imported or exported. But other options that are not required for this specific application have been omitted, leaving a streamlined, focused product.

The tools for adaptive solutions and model parameterization are all included, and the Optimizer+ module is available as an option if required. Key features can be set as parameters, and either modified in a script allowing multiple analyses to be automated, or be passed to the optional Optimizer+ modules for full optimization.
