ComDat Antennas

 

ComDat® stands for communications – data and is an extremely popular line of multi-function antennas. The ComDat product line consists of antennas that combine functionality of VHF communication, GPS and XM® for weather data or entertainment.

 

Introduced in 2002, installers and aircraft manufacturers alike found that the multi-function capability offered by ComDat saves time because the TSO’d products are fast and easy to install. They save space because three functions operating under one radome eliminates the need for three separate antennas. And, they save money because they not only are competitively priced, but installing one antenna instead of three saves on installation labor costs.

Pilots like ComDat as well because they keep the number of antennas down to a minimum on the aircraft while still adding functions such as an additional GPS system or an XM system. This reduces drag and saves fuel while at the same time keeping their aircraft looking sleek and uncluttered.

ComDat antennas are standard equipment on numerous aircraft including Cessna, Cirrus, Piper, Mooney, Robinson and many others.
