Air Cavity Technology Duplexers

Air_Cavity_technology_duplexersAir Cavity duplexers are made with two air cavity filters and matched cables to a common port (antenna). Resonant air cavity duplexers are manufactured with line or helicoids resonators with a theoretical length of ë/4.

Designs are integrating low cost packages with a range of cavity sections: 27x27, 35x35, 42x42, 50x50 and 100x100 mm to improve Q-factor in the frequency bands from 30 to 2000 MHz. Better features are achieved when increasing cavity Q-factor, for instance by increasing section of cavity (reduction of insertion loss) or number of cavities (increasing attenuation).

Duplexers are optimized with additional zeros reducing number of cavities when keeping this attenuation. Tunable duplexers and ceramic duplexers are also available.

Standard & tunable air cavity duplexers are dedicated to the following applications:
  1. Defence & marine communications
  2. Private and public networks (P.M.R., 3RP)
  3. Mobile
  4. Base stations (for two way radio)
  5. Repeaters for cellular networks Features

Tunable duplexers are available. Duplexers are delivered with factory adjusted frequencies - specified in the order, and the duplexers can be tuned by Customer with a network analyzer.
  1. Special attenuation adjustment can be made upon request.
  2. With these duplexers, transmitters can be connected on "High" or "Low" ports.

Cellular & satellite air cavity duplexers are specially designed for cellular networks.

  1. Low insertion loss
  2. Space saving packages to be installed in micro base stations
Ceramic duplexers Dielectric duplexers are also available for space saving and/or low power cellular applications. For special or mechanical specifications, please contact our sales office. You will find in below Standard and tunable Selection guide.
