Intermediate Frequency Target Simulator (IFTS) are critical tools for supporting radar development testing, performances estimation and operator training.
Features
Frequency range from 1 MHz to 200 MHz
Chirp, Single tone, FSK and BPSK waveforms
Doppler generator
Attenuation range up to 70 dB by 1 dB step
Programmable scenario
Custom MMI on request
Available on standard 19 inches racks
Application
Intermediate Frequency Target Simulator enables radar development and testing, performance estimation and operator training.
Architecture
Current design is a three channel simulator with an ability to simulate three independent targets. Simulator has a standard rack (one per channel) for echo generation, one combiner unit and a supporting computer.
Simulator is supported by a MMI (Man Machine Interface) with a computer screen. Moving target or static objects are described by scenarios. Simulation parameters and scenario related can be configured by computer or from a parameter file.
