C-Band RF Duplexer in strip line and coaxial technology. T/R RF signals are monitored by switch control circuitry.
Features
- Frequency range 5.125GHz to 5.475GHz,
- Power handling capability of 40W with PRF 412Hz ±10%,
- Switch control circuitry,
- 3 operating channels (transmit, receive and calibration),
- RS422 compatible interface
Application
C-Band RF Duplexer is designed to be used in altimeter for satellite pay-load
Architecture
Duplexer includes two strip lines channels, one which transmits and receive RF signal, and the other which calibrate the transmitted signal to the receiver as a reference.
These channels correspond to two modes of operation:
- Tracking mode, when T/R RF signal is connected to the antenna port and switch SRx isolate Rx from Tx during the time of transmission.
- Calibration mode, when T/R RF signal is isolated from the antenna by switch STx, antenna port is isolated from switch SRx and calibration couplers connect Tx to Rx.
- These two modes must be selected by compatible RS422 interface.
Technology
RF Duplexer includes strip line and coaxial components:
- Coaxial isolators and circulator
- Strip line 50 dB coupler
- Strip line PIN diodes switches
- Driver board for switches control
