 | The Passenger Address Amplifier (PAA) can interface with: - The AMUs,
- Passenger Entertainment System,
- Aircraft Cabin System ("Seatbelt" and "No smoking" annunciation, Passenger Call),
- Cabin Loudspeakers,
- Test panel,
- Attendant Handsets.

The PAA allow announcements to the passengers: - from the cockpit for the pilots, by means of their RAD PTT,
- from the cabin for the attendants, by means of their handset PTT.
The PAA offers three interphone modes : the CALL, the EMERG and the ATT modes. The CALL and EMERG modes allow flight crew members to have private intercommunications and the ATT mode allows the attendants to have private intercommunications via the intercom network.
Additionally, the PAA includes a Chime Sound Generator, a Priority Management Module and a Built-in-test Module.
