Transmission selection and volume adjustment are controlled by the Audio Control Panel (ACP).
The AMUs include a BITE function, SELCAL management and cockpit speaker amplification.
They are able to manage up to 5 operators.
The architecture of some AMUs is modular with interchangeable audio boards that can be easily exchanged or replaced.
Operational safety is ensured by Emergency modes.
