Radar slip rings and radar applications demand the longest lifetimes (a surveillance radar operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week).
Direct maintenance cost is also crucial since the operational life of a radar unit can be as long as 20 or 30 years.
For radar slip rings we use technology guaranteeing long lifetime and minimum maintenance.
Radar slip rings are generally linked to a high frequency rotary joint and therefore have hollow shafts.

Some examples for the use of radar slip rings by way of illustration :
| Equipment | Reference | Description | Detail |
| RA01 | Fitted on a ground radar this hollow-shaft radar slip ring can be supplied with an integrated hyper frequency coaxial rotary joint. It has EMI, RMI immunity. | Data sheet |
| RA02 | For use in a radar, this high technology radar slip ring includes a high frequency rotary joint and a high precision positioning system. It operates under extreme EMI conditions. | Data sheet |
