The APF 2300 search light is an exterior light, flush mounted when retracted, with adjustable elevation and azimuth. It provides a very high energy beam to allow search operations.
The light consists of :
- a very high energy lamp (metal halide gas discharge
- an electronically controlled beam spread orientation device,
- a case and interfaces.
It can be automatically shut off and retracted.
