Cobham Aerospace Communications

On February 14, 2011, Cobham combined
its French aerospace businesses and part of its Avionics business
to create Cobham Aerospace Communications.
Cobham Aerospace Communications designs
and manufactures some of the world's foremost audio and radio
communications systems, serving clients including Boeing, Airbus,
Bell and Eurocopter, space agencies and military forces on land and
sea in more than 100 countries.
Cobham's radio range includes
navigation and communication products for corporate aviation,
military trainers, commuter airlines and helicopters.
As a specialist in communication within and from airborne
platforms, Cobham Aerospace Communications is a world leading
provider of internal and external lighting, intercoms and
integrated audio panels, such as the Radio Audio Integration
Management System (RAIMS) destined for the Airbus A350XWB and
A400M.
Cobham Aerospace Communications is also a Centre of Excellence
for Slip Ring design and manufacture in applications from wind
turbines to helicopter rotor de-icing.
